AAMIA Attends South Carolina Faith Based Leadership Alliance Prayer Breakfast

(COLUMBIA, SC) Reverend Timothy McDonald, Chair of the African American Ministers in Action (AAMIA) joined Rev. Dr. Cecelia Bryant, Supervisor, 5th District, AME Church, Los Angeles, CA in remarks to over one hundred attendees of the First Annual Prayer Breakfast of the South Carolina Faith Based Leadership Alliance on April 24, 2005.

During the breakfast hosted by New Ebenezer Baptist Church, Rev. McDonald encouraged the Leadership Alliance to organize to protect the filibuster and the Supreme Court, while Dr. Bryant reminded attendees that there was no such thing as a "religious right" or a "religious left".
